Music for Rosh Hashono
ROSH HASHANAH MUSIC
Hello all,
The High Holy days are days of prayer: ימי רחמים וימי רצון. Rosh Hashana is a day where we focus in our prayer on the greatness of G-d and our relationship with Him. We do not concentrate on our needs or the desire for forgiveness. Rather, we coronate G-d as our king. The music of R"H is therefore, literally aristocratic and this is reflected in the melodies as well.
