Join WSIS for a visit to Bialystoker, a shteibl (one room house of prayer), and a walk down historic East Broadway, stopping along the way to discuss such iconic sites as the Mikvah,  Forward Building, Educational Alliance, Henry Street Settlement, Lillian Wald, Seward Park, Straus Square, and more.  We end our tour outside what is left of Beth Hamedrash Hagadol, the building of the oldest & largest Jewish Orthodox Russian Congregation in America.  The tour ends with a visit to a neighborhood favorite, The Pickle Guys.
