Dear Parents,

This is an exciting time for youth at W.S.I.S. Our staff is committed to building one of the strongest and most creative Orthodox youth programs in the country. Youth programs in the past have had many shortcomings, for one, they served merely as a babysitting program; second, the games and fun are randomly chosen to entertain without ever giving context and meaning to the shul experience. At W.S.I.S we are changing the basic synagogue model on many levels.

Purpose Statement

To assist our youth in developing a greater appreciation for synagogue and for spirituality. Our youth will also learn how to develop a strong joy in serving G-d. Finally, our youth will also expand upon their basic Jewish Pride in a way that can impact the lives of other people around the world.
